''Ernie'' has some thoughts on the recent sex scandals.
The sudden deluge of sexual harassment accusations are yet more examples of PC gone wild. Nobody argues that such abusive behavior doesn't exist, nor should go ignored, but neither should we automatically declare the man accused as guilty. Being of the male persuasion I have seen flirting, leering, suggestive looks and other normal "hinting" between the races. By the way millennials, there is a difference between male and females that creates an urge you probably wouldn't understand. That "urge" is perfectly legal and normal. Carrying that urge to uncomfortable, unwanted advancements is when we get into areas that could cause legal problems.
There are numerous cases where false charges have nearly ruined those falsely accused. Tawana Brawley and the Duke LaCrosse players comes to mind. These examples lead us to the question, "what does a man do when he's charged with sexual abuse when he knows he's innocent?" The left says we should always believe the woman, but really? What, women never lie? Never make false accusations for financial, political or vengeful reasons?
The one thing I don't hear discussed is how suggestively women dress these days. Good grief, just look at female anchors on cable news programs. Think of the billions of dollars spent by women to make themselves look sexier and more desirable to men. And we're to believe that men aren't supposed to notice?
TV is loaded with weight loss ads of sexy women showing off their newfound assets; women fearing they may have forgotten to take birth control pills before going on a date; bras that will enhance cleavage and lift. Need more? How about Victoria's Secret ads; women's perfume ads; men's after shave ads; women shaving their legs. (Those should be X rated). But libs would have us believe that none of these things should in anyway cause a reaction or comment by admiring men.
Yes, men like Harvey are sex starved predators who prey on young girls trying to get a start in the movie industry. What? No one warned them of vultures like Harvey, couch casting, agents and the rest of the sick Hollywood world? How many of those young ladies were more than willing to interview on the couch if it got them into the industry.
And last but not least, the charges against Roy Moore appear to be falling apart. Actions 40 years old no less. Let's not forget the many cultural differences between the "free love" 60/70s and today. Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year old cousin for Gods asked. The words "sexual abuse" weren't even uttered. After all, he was a rock star. Sorta like Bill Clinton.
PC means you're guilty of anything that doesn't fit the narrative of the Marxist looney left. It's killing this once fabulous country.
