1957 – Girls bake peanut butter cookies in home economics class.

2017 – There are no longer home economics courses. Regardless peanut
butter is banned throughout all school districts in the state.


1957: students start the day saying the Pledge of Allegiance and the Lord's Prayer.
2017: students are forbidden to mention God, Jesus or the Bible anywhere on school property. Muslim students are given a prayer room complete with prayer mats and allowed to pray 3 times/day.


1954 - Ike urges Congress to add "under God" to Pledge of Alligence.

2017 - Ike proclaims martial law to deal with mass hysteria following his suggestion.
