Why is there Rampant Antisemitism?

"Peter" has some thoughts about the current rash of antisemitism.

There is a nation-wide outcry in the media about rampant antisemitism in the United States. They say its never been this bad in our history. Why is that?

 

A 2017 study estimated that 3.45 million Muslims were living in the United States, about 1.1 percent of the total U.S. population, thanks primarily to Barack Obama and Joe Biden. In 2017, 20 states which were mostly in the South and Midwest reported Islam being the largest non-Christian religion. With the influx from our wide-open southern border, the number of Muslims in the United States has grown to 8.11 million in 2023. Some areas, like Michigan, have Muslim populations so dense that they have managed to elect Muslims to Congress. Dearborn is 90% Muslim and boasts the largest mosque in North America. Experts predict that Islam could be the second-largest religion in the U.S.  by 2040.

 

Jewish students in many Ivy League universities are being harassed and harangued by fellow students, who happen to be mostly Muslim. Muslim members of Congress are openly supporting Hamas and demanding that Biden pressure the Israelis to call a cease fire. Pro-Hamas and anti-Israel protests are happening in New York, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Los Angeles and other metropolitan areas.

 

Muslims do not integrate with other faiths. All others are considered infidels and are not to be tolerated. They are not just antisemitic; they are anti-everyone else in the world. Muslims tried to break out of the Middle East and conquer Europe several times throughout history, with some success. The Muslim religion demands segregation from infidels, so they group together in neighborhoods and cities, having little or no socialization with we infidels. They do not trust us.

 

So the pro-Hamas demonstrations in the U.S. and the rest of the civilized world should have been expected by our political and military leaders. They express surprise and disappointment, but they are misleading us. Allowing such an influx of Muslims into this country is a huge national security problem, as is our open border.

 

Biden and his radical left allies created this mess, on purpose. Ask them why.

 

This country will suffer divisions, conflicts and deep depression for decades to come if the democrats win in 2024. In fact, we may never have a chance to recover, because they are “stacking the deck” in their favor. There is a bill being drafted by the democrats right now to give voting rights to non-citizens, legal or not.

 

Horrific hardly describes our situation.

Jews vs Muslims

"Peter" found the following is a copy of an article written by Spanish writer Sebastian Vilar Rodriguez and published in a Spanish newspaper. It doesn't take much imagination to extrapolate the message to the rest of Europe, and possibly to the rest of the world......

"I walked down the streets in Barcelona and suddenly discovered a terrible truth: Europe died in Auschwitz. We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a group of people who represented culture, thought, creativity, talent. 

We destroyed the chosen people, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who made great contributions to the world, and thus changed the world.

The contribution of today’s Jewish people is felt in all areas of life: science, art, international trade, and above all, as the conscience of the world. Look at any donors’ board at any symphony, art museum, theatre, art gallery, science center, etc. You will see many, many, Jewish surnames.

These are the people who were burned. Of the 6,000,000 who died, how many would have grown up to be gifted musicians, doctors, artists, philanthropists? And under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the diseases of racism and bigotry, Europe opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.

They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful Spanish cities into the third world, drowning in filth and crime. Shut up in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naive hosts. And thus, in our misery, we have exchanged culture for fanatical hatred, creative skill for destructive skill, intelligence for backwardness and superstition.

We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent for a better future for their children, their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs.

What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe.

Recently, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it “offends” the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet. However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving in to it.

It is now approximately seventy years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This email is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, twenty million Russians, ten million Christians, and nineteen-hundred Catholic priests who were murdered, raped, burned, starved, beaten, experimented on and humiliated. Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming The Holocaust to be “a myth,” it is imperative to make sure the world "never forgets."

Israel and Hamas - Cause and Effect

“Hamas terrorists invaded South Israel, killed, kidnapped Israelis, and lunched more than 3,000 rockets against a good half of Israel’s territory.  They did it on the 50^th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War. Iranian agencies provided logistical and operational planning to Hamas in addition to the financial backing from Iran.”

 

“The European Union is condemning the terrorist attack”

 

“Joe Biden declared ‘America is behind Israel’”

 

This is a horrible news, these are -at least on first read- great statements …. none of which comes close to the list of core problems; the sum of which lead to this point.  Now let’s see how have we gotten here.

The entire mess from its inception (prior and during 1948 and all the way to today) has been built on “shaky ground” (if I want to be polite), or “a big fat lie” (if I want to be factual).  Both criteria have been accompanied by the dumb and lying-throughout-its-existence” UN that defines the old adage: “garbage in, garbage out.”  We elect garbage quality leaders to run countries, --well, they will work on garbage quality issues at the UN, and -in turn- the UN will vote on garbage resolutions.  It is this simple.  One of these garbage quality myths are the “Occupied Territory By Israel.”  The State of Israel will have her 80^th birthday in 2028; 80 years weren’t enough for 99% of global leaders to read an approx. 20 page history reader’s digest to be clear on the most basic facts.

 

Here are a few of them: 

 

In the contested area (West Bank of the Jordan River the so called “Occupied Territory”)

§  The First Jewish Temple was destroyed in 586 BC

§  The Second Jewish Temple was destroyed in 70 AD

§  The Prophet Muhammad was born in 570 AD

§  The Dome of the Rock (from which Muhammad ascended to Heaven) was initially built in 691 AD

§  This time line should give pause to any thinking person, because:

§  Muhammad was born exactly 500 years after the Second (not the First!) Temple was destroyed.  Which means the entire Muslim religion was born 500+ years later than the destruction of the Second Jewish Temple

§  The Dome of the Rock was built 621 years later than the Second Jewish Temple was destroyed

 

So, who was there first?

 

§  These all have been manifested in a single image: in Jerusalem, the Second Temple’s wall is under the Dome of Rock.  The “1^st floor is usually built before the 2^nd”  is part of the curricula in pre-school. Yet, no one seems to notice it at the UN and elsewhere.

§  There is a library-full of information and evidence; most even discrediting the “Palestinian” people’s existence.  This includes the fact that the word “Palestine” didn’t occur in any ancient document; not written in the Bible, in the Hebrew Scriptures, in the Christian Testament, not even in Assyrian, Persian, Macedonian, Ptolemaic, Seleucian or other Greek sources, not even by the Romans that invented the term.   

If this isn’t enough proof, Zahir Muhsein the PLO Executive Committee member did an interview in 1977 with the Dutch newspaper Trouw and made the following statement:

 

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.  In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese.  Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian  people…”

§  It has been a known fact for decades 

§  that Iran has been the No.1. terrorist sponsor worldwide

§  that Iran sponsors Hamas, PLO, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations 

 

If you understand all this and you still think the West side of the Jordan river is an “Israeli occupied territory” –then you are dumber than you look.

 

So, how October 7, 2023 came about in Israel?  Well, if you followed the last 15 years, it has been clear it will come.  Here is why:

 

§  United States:  Over the last 15 years the US supported Israel in 4 years and was a de-facto enemy of Israel for 11. 

§  Until Biden, Obama was “the” most anti-Israel president in US history. 

§  Using his anti-US energy policies Obama created conditions for Iran where Iran’s oil revenue averaged $45 billion/year

§  Signed the “JCPOA” with Iran that gave Iran a roadmap to nuclear bomb

§  Obama has gone as far as he ordered to transfer some $7 billion in cash (!!) loaded at night and shipped out of Geneva on a private jet to Iran

§  Obama let the Iranian revolution in 2009 die (with a lot of Iranians in it), because he wasn’t willing to stop kissing up to the Iranian thugs (God forbid the Iranians will have the guts to establish a non-terrorist government.  Where would Obama go?)

§  Almost succeeded in eliminating Israel by starting the Arab Spring, knocking off all Israel friendly (or neutral to Israel) leaders and installing people who were the enemy of Israel.  We can thank the Egyptians for kicking out Obama’s brothers from power.  That saved Israel. 

§  Came Pres. Trump, who was the true friend of Israel and a dedicated enemy of the Iranian thugs.  

§  Under Pres. Trump, Iran’s oil revenue went down to $9 billion/year

§  At the end of Pres. Trump’s 4^th year, Iran was on the brink of total economy collapse.  

§  Pres. Trump also cut founding of the PLO

§  As soon as Biden came, the bootlicking of the Iranian thugs continued

§  Biden became “the” most anti US energy and anti-Israel president in US history

§  Biden reinstated PLO’s funding

§  Lifted most sanctions on Iran

§  Iran’s revenue came back to $32 billion by 2023

§  Gave $6 billion to Iran as ransom for kidnapped Americans

§  Biden (the “big supporter” of Israel) hasn’t met PM Netahyahu for more than two years

§  As the direct result of the media campaign, “…Three-fifths of the 50 U.S. states have already adopted laws prohibiting boycotts of Israel. Most prohibit government contracts with companies that engage in a broad range of boycott-related activities. Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Texas, and eight other states mandate the divestment of public pension funds from such firms. New York is considering doing the same….” (Foreign Policy 6/10/20)

§  All these were in the news daily.  Yet, the American voters voted Obama into office twice, and didn’t reelect Pres. Trump.

§  United Nations (whatever that means): Over the same 15 years, the UN filed one resolution after the other against Israel; the UN adopted 140 anti-Israel resolutions since 2015.

§  European Union: Over the same 15 years, the EU leaders (the same EU leaders who bankrupted the EU, and invited over 5 million illegal “immigrants” into the continent) organized/filed/adapted many anti-Israel boycotts. “…The governments of France, Belgium, Ireland, and Luxembourg are … pressing the EU as a bloc to adopt punitive measures against Israel….In Britain, 127 members of Parliament urged Prime Minister Boris Johnson to impose sanctions should Israel proceed with a West Bank sovereignty declaration…. That some European governments would threaten sanctions against Israel while refusing to impose sanctions on Iran and Hezbollah is disappointing….” (Foreign Policy 6/10/20)

 

§  At the same time, the moment Obama’s JCPOA was announced, most large EU based companies (from AirBus, through VW, Siemens, Total, most French car manufacturers, etc.) were running to Iran establishing business, giving Iran money, jobs and penetrating Iranian market

 

 

Read this fact sheet through the “who really occupies the west bank of the Jordan”, and “is Iran a global terror sponsor or not?” lens.

 

So far it is safe to argue that most “developed” countries have been -for decades- supporting the (so called) “Palestinians”, supporting Iran that sponsored most terrorism since 1979 around the world (resulting in deaths in the hundreds of thousands), and have been the enemy of Israel (in her fight for her homeland) while discrediting Israel based on a lie.

 

It has been more than fascinating that people in various so called “developed” countries kept voting for gangsters and lunatics as their country “leaders” for decades.  It is sad to say that Jews in these countries were on the frontline voting for “leaders” who then worked for their destruction. In the US, most telling was 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020 elections.

§  Prior to the 2008 election, Obama made several speeches from which everyone knew: he isn’t the friend of Israel; yet, 82% of American Jews voted for him

§  By 2012, Obama had proven, he hates Israel and cuddles the PLO, Iran and all other groups that hate Israel; yet,  64% of the American Jews still voted for him

§  In 2016, Pres. Trump was elected with almost no support from the American Jews.  In his four years he did more for the State of Israel than all other US presidents combined.  

§  In 2020, the American Jews voted against Pres. Trump and voted for Biden of whom everybody knew: he is anti-Israel, pro-Iran, anti-American energy and pro-PLO.

   

Israel:

Unfortunately there is a significant amount of blame can be directed toward Israel. I was in Israel in

2007 first time, visited many times since.  My personal observation was: if I asked 100 random persons (age 17-25) in Israel in 2007 about their military service, 98 of them were truly happy, excited and proud that they soon go into service or have just completed it (I asked a lot of people while there).  This “98%” in 2007 fell to the absolute maximum of 60% by 2019.  The Israeli society changed, changed rapidly and for the worse.  People just forgot how to be proud to live in the only country the Jews call “home” and fought for for 2,000 years.  

 

As a direct result of my observation throughout the years, the following article came down in the Jewish Post on 10/08/23: “…. The IDF never had such a failed leadership. The best military intelligence in the world has become extinct. The story of the best army in the world has vanished.”  He then urged a rehabilitation of the IDF to restore people’s trust in it, as well as its ability to deter the enemy.

In early June, one female and two male IDF soldiers were killed by gunshots fired by an Egyptian policeman….The operational failures that were exposed by a later IDF inquiry were staggering, but the mainstream media buried alive a Channel 14 analyst who dared to suggest that the reason for the carnage had to do with the decision to post a man and a woman together for 12 hours.

 

Turns out the border with Egypt is guarded by the Caracal and Cheetah Battalions, both of which have men and women living and fighting together, and tank units operated by women. Both groups are the result of years of efforts to feminize the IDF, heralded by Supreme Court justices and many feminist groups. Even now, the IDF has been forced to let women into its special forces, and its leadership was recently chastised by the court for letting them only into two units, and not the whole shebang.

 

Over the past decade, the IDF has been turned into an instrument for empowering women, transgenders, and mentally challenged individuals. Even worse, because of the Israeli government’s fear of annexing Judea and Samaria, the IDF is relegated to manning checkpoints and carrying out police operations, where issues such as civil rights dominate its ability to carry out missions….”

 

 

Summary

The complete decay of “what’s right and what’s wrong”, and the global acceptance of “equity, climate change, feminism, transgenderism (?)” progressive madness has been destroying the societies in the so called “developed” countries (I’m using this term in a very loose way, because I’m not sure any more). The madness has gotten to the point when: 

§  The German (!) government issued a statement approx. four years ago (upon the anti-Israeli attacks were out of hand as a result of the invited “illegal immigrants”): “Jews can protect themselves on the streets of Germany by not wearing characteristic markers such as a Yamaoka.”

The German government actually suggested this as a “solution.”

§  By 2021 the move by French Jews from France to Israel was the highest ever recorded

 

But the most tragic and most descriptive definition of how low we have sunk came from a FOX interview with Brandies University professor, Prof. Ilan Troen, whose daughter and son-in-law were killed by Hamas while they were on the phone with him.  Obviously, everybody’s hearts go out to Prof. Troen and his family.  It is impossible to describe what he and his family are going through.  

 

With that on the other hand, Prof. Troen has been a professor at Brandeis, one of the central bastions of creating and imposing anti-American, anti-western, anti-Israel, progressive-socialist lunatics by the hundreds at each graduation on western societies. With this, Brandeis is in the fine company of Harvard, Columbia, Georgetown, Berkley, Yale and -in general- 80% of American “high education” (whatever that means).  The good professor used the “these are fanatics” (describing Hamas) phrase several times in the interview showing zero understanding and comprehension that his (and many other) universities have been just about as fanatical as Hamas.  The garbage (pardon me; the “graduating classes”) generated by these so called “high education” places have been killing societies within the “developed” countries and creating space for anti-democratic, anti-western terrorist forces such as Hamas, PLO, Iran, China, N. Korea and others. 

The only difference is the killing methodology.  

 

Closing

It is hard to express, but the “Israeli October 7” has been coming for years, has been assisted by most people and governments in the developed world and Israel.

§  People within the geographical area of San Francisco to Vienna have been subscribing to the progressive madness for two decades

§  Within the same area people repeatedly voting for “leaders” who all but guarantee their destruction

§  Most people between San Francisco and Vienna have been readily accepting the “Israeli occupied territory” lie

§  Large segment of American and European Jews have proven to serve, accommodate, subscribe to and participate in the lies of anti-Israeli doctrines

§  Growing segment of the Israeli society have forgotten their own history

 

It is my (humble) opinion that if you voted for Obama even once, voted against Trump and voted for Biden, if you are associated with a university that is anti-American and anti-Israel, if in Europe you voted for a long list of “leaders” over the last 15 years, among them the current ones in France, UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Austria or Belgium, if you voted (even once) for Angela Merkel in Germany, then…

 

…part of the blood of the killed 1,000 Israelis is on your hands.  You - by doing what you have been doing - participated in and (willingly, unwillingly, knowingly, unknowingly) supported this carnage. 

 

…and here is how:

 

§  By voting for Obama (especially if you are Jewish) you voted for a clearly anti-Israel, pro-Iran, anti-US president…

§  …. thereby allowing Obama to financially prop up Iran ….

§  ….allowing Iran to finance terrorism, most of it against Israel…

§  ….while allowing Obama to trash Israel…

§  ….then you voted against Pres. Trump, a president that had a longer list of pro-Israel achievements than anyone since Ben Gurion, Jew or no Jew…

§  ….but you voted for Biden that allowed Iran to continue its terrorism financing….and now we have arrived to October 7, 2023.

 

It’s called “cause and effect.”  Got it?

Hamas Butchers Babies

"Peter" has some thoughts about Hamas.

The terrorists of Hamas butchered hundreds of Israelis, mostly women and children. They cut off the heads of dozens of babies. Yet, many of the students and professors of our most elite universities praise Hamas and lay blame on the Israelis, the victims.

 

The terrorists declared Friday, October 13^th to be a day of protest in support of the terrorists and all around the world people responded with protests, assaults, murders and declarations of support for the terrorists of Hamas.

 

This reminds me of a quote from the Corsican artilleryman, Napoleon: “Sharpened steel defeats logic and intelligence.” Its worth noting that his father was a lawyer.

 

The sharpened steel of historical times is an obvious metaphor for the terrorism of today, defeating logic, intelligence and common sense. Seeing the media glorifying terrorism – not all the media perhaps, but most – makes me embarrassed; not just for the United States, but for the world at large. For the Human Race.

 

We are devolving from the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution, Civility; from Civilization itself.

 

Honor is missing in action. Our politicians don’t have even a passing acquaintance with honor. The media have mostly never heard of honor. They don’t look for it because they don’t know what it is. Its not taught in schools, with the possible exception of the military and naval academies. Its certainly not taught in law schools.

 

There are honorable people, but only those brought up that way by honorable parents, or were fortunate enough to come under the influence of a person of honor.

 

Do you want our government to act honorably? Fat chance!

Biden is a Total Failure

Biden recently released $6,000,000,000 to Iran upon their promise to use the billions for “humanitarian” purposes.

 

Iran considers the eradication of Israel a “humanitarian” purpose. Just a question of semantics. Just as Biden should have known would happen, if he had half a brain and cared at all about the continued existence of Israel.

 

Today thousands of rockets and missiles are landing in Israel, fired off by Iran’s proxy, the terrorist group Hamas. Hundreds of Israelis are dead and thousands are wounded, mostly civilians. Armed incursions of Hamas terrorist squads into Israel from Gaza are entering towns and slaughtering everyone in sight.

 

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have responded to protect their citizens, engaging Hamas terrorist troops in twenty-eight separate battlefronts. The IDF Air Forces are obliterating Hamas weapons storage and supply lines in the Gaza strip. Iran is applauding the aggression of Hamas, while the rest of the world are condemning the Palestinians for the actions of their “military” (Hamas).

 

It is no coincidence that this war closely follows the Biden payment of $6,000,000,000 to Iran. This war was foreseeable. Biden’s antisemitism is now exposed for the world to see and understand. But, there’s more. These war-making funds could just as easily have been used against America, thus exposing Biden’s anti-Americanism for all to see.

 

That’s why we’re no longer energy independent. That’s why we’re facing a Great Depression 2.0 in the coming year. That’s why our military can’t find recruits Everyone has seen what Biden has done to the military, starting with the Afghanistan “withdrawal” (surrender). That’s why we’ve sent over a hundred billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine instead of delivering the weapons and ammo to the Ukraine-Russia border ourselves and joining the Ukrainians in a march to Moscow. That’s how to deter aggression. But Biden wouldn’t know anything about deterring aggression.

 

Biden’s failure as a leader, and even as a politician, the lowest standard, should give the DNC pause before depending on him as their standard bearer in 2024.

Vivek Ramaswamy for President?

"Peter" has some thoughts about Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Vivek Ramaswamy on the Mehdi Hassan Show Thursday, September 7, 2023:

Hassan: "You say you're anti-identity politics, anti-affirmative action in a party that hates the Soros name, yet you accepted a Paul and Daisy Soros scholarship at law school that was specifically set up for the children of immigrants," Hasan said. "It was an affirmative action scholarship, and your defense for that is that you didn't have the money to pay for law school even though you had already made over a million dollars at the time."

 

Ramaswamy: "I didn't say I didn't have the money; I said at a time when I had a lot less money than now, $50,000 was still useful," Ramaswamy said before Hasan spoke over him. Hasan said Ramaswamy keeps forgetting he said he "didn't have the money."

Ramaswamy had previously said he "didn't have the money" for Yale Law School after graduating from Harvard.

When a millionaire politician gets $50,000 from a Soros source, then lies about the circumstances, he’s dead to me.

Was the Election Count Accurate?

"Peter" as some thoughts about the election.

It isn’t the voters that count; it’s the civil servants who count the votes.

Were the democrats just smart enough to find the polling place to cast their vote, while many Republicans were just lazy enough to not bother with voting? Maybe, but the democrats have been seducing the unions for a hundred years. The Deep State is made up of civil service union members. It’s not hard to figure out how they keep getting these “too close to call” elections tipping in their favor so often. Look at how often large blocks of votes are “found” at the last minute and every one of them a vote for the democrats. What are the odds of that happening, time after time?

It’s a difficult situation because the democrats promise the unions increased pay and benefits, passing the cost on to the tax payers. All the Republicans promise is austerity, lower taxes (which benefits everyone) and increased law enforcement resulting in lower crime rates.

Since lower taxes benefits everyone and increased law enforcement benefits everyone except criminals, shouldn’t that be the message of the GOP? Shouldn’t we be shouting that from the rooftops?

This is not rocket science. The Deep State is real; it’s controlling our elections and eroding our Constitution.

 

An Empire in Decline

Men, like nations, think they’re eternal. What man in his 20s or 30s doesn’t believe, at least subconsciously, that he’ll live forever?

In the springtime of youth, an endless summer beckons. As you pass 70, it’s harder to hide from reality.

Nations too have seasons. Imagine a Roman of the 2^nd. century contemplating an empire that stretched from Britain to the Near East, thinking: This will endure forever.

Forever was about 500 years, give or take.

France was the thing in the 17^th and 18^th centuries. Now the land of Charles Martel is on its way to becoming part of the Muslim ummah.

In the 19^th and early 20th centuries, the sun never set on the British empire. Now Albion exists in a perpetual twilight. Its 95-year-old sovereign is a fitting symbol for a nation in terminal decline.

In the 1980s, Japan seemed poised to buy the world. Business schools taught Japanese management techniques. Today, its birth rate is so low and its population is aging so rapidly, that an industry has sprung up to remove the remains of elderly Japanese who die alone.

I was born in 1946, almost at the midpoint of the 20^th century – the American century.  America’s prestige and influence were never greater. Thanks to the Greatest Generation, we won a World War fought over most of Europe, Asia and the Pacific. We reduced Germany to rubble and put the rising sun to bed.

It set the stage for almost half a century of unprecedented prosperity. We stopped the spread of communism in Europe and Asia, and fought international terrorism. We rebuilt our enemies and lavished foreign aid on much of the world.

We built skyscrapers and rockets to the moon. We conquered Polio and COVID.  We explored the mysteries of the Universe and the wonders of DNA, the blueprint  of life.

But where is the glory that once was Rome?

America has moved from a relatively free economy to socialism – which has worked so well nowhere in the world. We’ve gone from a republican government guided by a constitution to a regime of revolving elites. We have less freedom with each passing year.

Like a signpost to the coming reign of terror, the cancel culture is everywhere. We’ve traded the American Revolution for the Cultural Revolution.

The pathetic creature in the White House is an empty vessel filled by his handlers. At the G-7 Summit, Dr. Jill had to lead him like a child.

In 1961, when we were young and vigorous, our leader was too. Now a feeble  nation is technically led by the oldest man to ever serve in the presidency.

We can’t defend our borders, our history (including monuments to past greatness) or our streets. Our cities have become anarchist playgrounds.

We are a nation of dependents, mendicants, and misplaced charity. Homeless veterans camp in the streets while illegal aliens are put up in hotels.

The president of the United States can’t even quote the beginning of the Declaration of Independence correctly. Ivy League graduates routinely fail history tests that 5^th graders could pass a generation ago.

Crime rates soar and we blame the 2^nd. Amendment and slash police budgets.

Our culture is certifiably insane. We have men who marry men. Men who think they’re women. People who fight racism by seeking to convince members of one race that they’re inherently evil, and others that they are perpetual victims. A psychiatrist lecturing at Yale said she fantasizes about “unloading a revolver into the head of any white person.”

We slaughter the unborn in the name of freedom, while our birth rate dips lower year by year.

Our national debt is so high that we can no longer even pretend that we will repay it one day. It’s a $28-trillion monument to our improvidence and refusal to confront reality.

Our “entertainment” is sadistic, nihilistic and as enduring as a candy bar wrapper thrown in the trash. Our music is noise that spans the spectrum from annoying to repulsive.

Patriotism is called insurrection, treason celebrated, and perversion sanctified.

A man in blue gets less respect than a man in a dress.

We’re asking soldiers to fight for a nation our leaders no longer believe in.

How meekly most submitted to Fauci-ism (the regime of face masks and hand sanitizers) shows the death of the American spirit.

How do nations slip from greatness to obscurity?

• Fighting endless wars they can’t or won’t win
• Accumulating massive debt far beyond their ability to repay
• Refusing to guard their borders, allowing the nation to be inundated by an alien horde
• Surrendering control of their cities to mob rule
• Allowing indoctrination of the young
• Moving from a republican form of government to an oligarchy
• Losing national identity
• Indulging indolence
• Abandoning faith and family – the bulwarks social order.

In America, every one of these symptoms is pronounced, indicating an advanced stage of the disease.

Even if the cause seems hopeless, do we not have an obligation to those who sacrificed so much to give us what we had?

I’m surrounded by ghosts urging me on: the Union soldiers who held Cemetery Ridge at Gettysburg, the battered bastards of Bastogne, those who served in the cold hell of Korea, the guys who went to the jungles of Southeast Asia and came home to be reviled or neglected.

This is the nation that took in my immigrant grandparents, whose uniform my father and most of my uncles wore in the Second World War. I don’t want to imagine a world without America, even though it becomes increasingly likely.

During Britain’s darkest hour, when its professional army was trapped at Dunkirk and a German invasion seemed imminent, Churchill reminded his countrymen, “Nations that go down fighting rise again, and those that surrender tamely are finished.”

The same might be said of causes. If we let America slip through our fingers, if we lose without a fight, what will posterity say of us?

While the prognosis is far from good, only God knows if America’s day in the sun is over.

 

 

A Warning from Dubai

"Peter" has some thoughts on the U.S. relationship to the Arab world.

The founder of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid, was asked about the future of America.

 He replied, "My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a camel, I ride a Mercedes, my son rides a Land Rover, and my grandson is going to ride a Land Rover…but my great-grandson is going to have to ride a camel again."Why is that, he was asked? And his reply was, "Hard times create strong men, strong men create easy times. Easy times create weak men, weak men create difficult times.

 

 Many will not understand it, but you have to raise warriors, not parasites."Add to that the historical reality that all great empires...the Persians, the Trojans, the Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, and in later years, the British...all rose and perished within 240 years. They were not conquered by external enemies; they rotted from within.

 

America and Canada have now passed that 240-year mark, and the rot is starting to be visible and is accelerating. We are past the Mercedes and Land Rover years….the camels are on the horizon.

 

 

 

Why Joe Biden can't Resign, or be Removed — or Die

In the wake of the Afghanistan debacle, demands have arisen in Congress for President Biden to resign or to be removed via the 25th Amendment.  Elements of the formerly pro-Biden media have joined in the condemnation.

Many silent Democrat office-holders likely want Biden out, as they fear that the systemic incompetence of his administration will bring them down come 2022.

But Joe cannot resign or be fired.  The Democrat high command will not let either happen, no matter the short-term political cost.

On the surface, that makes little sense.  Joe's resignation or removal would not alter Democrat control of the presidency and Congress.  If Joe leaves, Kamala Harris becomes president.  She is incompetent, too, but no more so than Joe, and is on board with the administration's radical agenda.

So.  Why can't Joe quit the office or be removed? 

Article I, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution states: "The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided."  The current Senate is equally divided with 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans.

As soon as Kamala Harris takes the presidential oath, the vice presidency is left vacant.  In that case, a tie vote means that the legislation, resolution, or confirmation under consideration fails.

A Senate chamber without a vice president puts Mitch McConnell in the catbird seat.  He can kill all Democrat initiatives, including any nomination to refill the vice presidency.

The Democrat agenda goes up in smoke.  The 3.5-trillion-dollar budget reconciliation bill is blocked.  The For the People bill is blocked.  The Green New Deal is blocked.  Packing the Supreme Court is dead.  As is any attempt to scuttle the filibuster or grab guns.

Therefore, the Democrats will keep Joe in office.  Even if he's reduced to talking gibberish and eating Jell-O.  Kamala also stays where she is, and the Democrat dream of fundamental transformation remains alive.

OK.  But what if Joe Biden dies?  This 78-year-old man is certainly at risk.  When Joe was three decades younger, in 1988, he suffered two brain aneurysms.  Doctors at the time gave him a 50-50 chance of surviving.

"He's not a healthy guy," said Dr. David Scheiner in 2020.  Dr. Scheiner was concerned about Biden's potential for a stroke.  Biden receives treatment for an irregular heartbeat and high cholesterol.  Joe has also undergone surgeries for gallbladder and partial prostate removal, and on his sinus and nasal passages to treat sleep apnea.

If Joe dies, Kamala automatically vacates the vice presidency.  The Democrats again face the throttling of their agenda.  Mitch again rules.

The Democrat high command are not stupid.  Indeed, as they proved during the last presidential election, they are quite willing to do whatever needs to be done.  We must assume they have contingency plans in place.

If Joe were to expire while addressing the United Nations or during a live press conference, that would be one thing.  His death must be acknowledged and the consequences accepted.

If Joe passes while out of sight of the public, that is something else.  The something else would probably go like this:

His body is secretly transported to Camp David or the family compound in Delaware.  His sudden disappearance is explained by announcing that an assassination plot (by Islamic terrorists, or better, by white supremacists) has just been discovered.  The president will remain at an undisclosed location until the threat is neutralized.

Biden's existence and whereabouts can be easily faked, so the pretense could be kept up a while.  Also remember that a president need not actually sign a bill for it to become law (if Congress remains in session ten days after passage).

With Joe presumably alive and Kamala able to break Senate tie votes, the Democrats have a window of about sixteen months to enact their agenda.  Only recalcitrants Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema stand in the way.  The party that plays the hardest ball ever seen will go to work hard on those two.

The window ends Jan. 3, 2023, when the new Congress convenes.  Almost certainly the GOP will control the next House, and the Republicans stand an increasingly good chance to take back the Senate.  If not passed, the Democrat agenda is truly dead as of that date.

While the window remains open, Joseph Robinette Biden must remain president.  Whether he serves honorably or dishonorably, whether coherently or incoherently, whether alive or dead. 

 

Goodbye Afghanistan

"Peter" has some thoughts about the Afghanistan debacle.

In 1989 Mark Milley decided to leave his position as front man for the much maligned group Milli Vanilli. He enlisted in the U.S. Army to ensure he would have a pension in his elder years.

 

Milley is now in his elder years and is Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. He has bragged about being “woke” and reading books on white rage and white supremacy instead of tactics, strategy and planning. While supervising his infiltration of wokeness into the U.S. Military, the Taliban overran the entire nation of Afghanistan, catching the U.S. Military and the Biden administration asleep at their posts (except for Biden, who was asleep on vacation).

 

The scene at Kabul airport was reminiscent of the siege of Saigon that had fleeing diplomats and Vietnamese employees boarding helicopters from rooftops; something Biden said would NEVER happen in Afghanistan. It happened! There are thousands of U.S. employees of Afghan descent, along with diplomats from several allied Western nations, now at the Kabul airport desperately trying to get a flight out before the Taliban catch up with them.

 

The Taliban have a history of butchering “infidels” and their traitorous lackeys. The lackeys at the airport are so terrified that some of them were seen clinging to the side moldings on a C-17 as it took off. They plunged to their deaths as horrified lackeys watched and became even more terrified. This is an intelligence failure of the first magnitude.

 

Responsibility for the unmitigated disaster occurring at Kabul airport rests on many shoulders, not least of which is Mark Milley. In addition to Milley, the Directors of National Security, CIA, NSA, and DIA must all be fired. No resignations, FIRED! Biden and Harris must both resign. No, wait.... Who would be worse as POTUS, Harris or Pelosi? Damn, what a choice to have to make.
